Inclusive Centres of Culture (ICCE)
The Forest and Saami Museum is participating in the Inclusive Centers of Culture – Collaborative and Inclusive Cultural Tourism Through Nordic Cooperation (ICCE) project, an Interreg Aurora project with the aim of creating more inclusive cultural centers where local communities and tourists can meet. Through boundary crossing cooperation between research, culture and tourism, the project aims to strengthen the role of culture in a sustainable tourism industry. This is a collaborative project where the Lapland University of Applied Sciences in Finland is the project owner and where Umeå University works with cultural actors such as the Forest and Saami Museum in Lycksele and the Kin Museum of Contemporary Art in Kiruna.
The project runs from 2025-11-01 to 2026-12-31.
